From the KILLSWITCH ENGAGE Facebook page:
“To our family, friends and fans: We have decided to continue on without Howard Jones as the singer of Killswitch Engage. We love Howard and are thankful for the nine years that we’ve had him in the band. Out of respect for everyone involved we will not be discussing the specific reasons behind this decision. Howard is a part of our family and always will be, and we wish him well. He has left big shoes to fill, so we certainly have our work cut out for us to find the next singer of Killswitch, something we plan on making priority #1 going forward. Most importantly, thanks to all of you for all the support throughout the years and for sticking by us for all this time. We really do appreciate it and we very much look forward to having a new record for all of you in the not too distant future that we can all be proud of. Sincerely, Adam, Joel, Mike & Justin.”
Over the past two years Howard has sat out a few tours for KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Phil LaBonte from ALL THAT REMAINS joined them on tour in 2010, and original vocalist Jesse Leach filled in on some dates also. No reason was ever given for Howard not joining the band on the road.

ALL THAT REMAINS vocalist Phil Labonte has issued the following:
“I got an email EARLY yesterday morning tellin me that ATR officially has its first top ten record (For We Are Many). So I wanna say thank you, from the bottom of my heart. ATR has been my life for pretty much the last ten years. We’ve come so far, further than I honestly ever thought we could. And as cliche as it sounds, we aren’t anything without you guys. Thank you so much for the support through all our growth, member changes, broken down vans, busted voices, amazing tours, and just good times. It’s an honor to be able to do this and hear that our stuff hits you guys. On behalf of the guys. Thank you.”
