LAMB OF GOD have set January 24th, 2012 as the release date for Resolution, the follow up to their Grammy nominated album Wrath. Resolution, produced by Josh Wilbur, will feature 14 songs and will come in a deluxe softpak with artwork by longtime art director Ken Adams. The album was recorded in various studios in Virginia and New York.

Pre-orders for the new album will begin today at www.lamb-of-god.com/resolution and will feature multiple premium bundles. On November 15th, the band will announce the first leg of what will be a 2 year world tour.

Tapped to support the band on the run is Impending Doom, Daath, and Lancaster, PA’s THIS OR THE APOCALYSPE. The run begins on November 24th in Chicago, IL, so make sure to purchase your tickets now!

“CHIMAIRA is hard at work writing number six, being domestic, and making moves that will ensure awesomeness in 2011,” states vocalist Mark Hunter. “As you may have read, we are not exactly done touring yet. After all, we just released a new DVD. We hit up our agent and some killer bands, and came up with the ‘BLUE COLLAR BRAWLER TOUR’; 10 shows in 10 awesome cities. After that, we will switch our energy and start preparing for CHIMAIRA CHRISTMAS 11. This will be your last chance to see CHIMAIRA live for a while, so I suggest you do so. 2010 has been another amazing year for CHIMAIRA, and we can’t wait to end it on a high note with these shows. CHIMAIRA CHRISTMAS 11 will take place on December 30th, 2010 at the House of Blues in Cleveland, OH. The band will be joined by special guests Ohio Sky.

CHIMAIRA currently has a CD/DVD set released, entitled Coming Alive. The set includes a four-part documentary filmed over the course of a year and a half while the entire package includes over 7 hours of exclusive content. The DVD, filmed entirely in HD, showcases CHIMAIRA in the studio while recording the Billboard-charting, The Infection, and chronicles their recent, worldwide touring season. Not only does the DVD set include this amazing documentary piece, another section, CHIMAIRA XMAS: Live Concert Film, celebrates the 10th annual CHIMAIRA Christmas show in Cleveland, Ohio, which took place on December 30th, 2009. 13 HD cameras capture CHIMAIRA releasing their fury for their hometown crowd on a dark and snowy night in December. Bonus features on the DVD include a 45 minute Resurrection: ‘Making of’ documentary, a 40 minute home-video footage documentary of never before seen moments, and a live CD featuring 17 tracks recorded at CHIMAIRA’s December 30th, 2010 Christmas show.

Supporting band and road veterans THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE also had a few words to share about the tour. “THIS OR THE APOCALYPSE is going to be playing a lot of new crowds and we couldn’t be any more excited about it,” states vocalist Ricky Armellino. “This tour is a really cool mix of bands that we’ve been familiar with and fans of for a long time; definitely an incredible way to end the year for us. BLACK TIDE are at Spin Studios in New York recording their follow-up to their 2008 Interscope Records debut, Light From Above, with producers GGGarth (RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE) and Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD). The as-yet-untitled sophomore set will be released fall 2010.
The band have posted the first in a series of video clipsdocumenting the recording process.
They state, “Sorry that it has taken so long for us to get it to you all, but here it is, our first in the studio video. This video covers part of our time from our first trip to NYC when we came up to do pre-pro. Check it out below and keep coming back because there are plenty more videos to come, we promise!!”
