Toad's Place in Richmond, VA is a great little music venue. It can be said that the place packs an abundance of festivity and vibrance that can give casinos or poker clubs a run for money when it comes to adding the perfect party atmosphere. An old textile factory that sat empty for nearly 30 years, this state of the art rock club is based on the well known Toad's Place in New Haven, CT - complete with upper level luxury boxes! Since opening only a few weeks ago it's really changed the face of the Richmond music scene. We need one of these in Raleigh! I met some folks from the Mule Army right before the show began. Some of them were on their 7th Mule show in almost as many days. Thanks to Jim and Sharrin for arranging photo passes for Mule and the Nocturnals.
