For the uninitiated: Guitarist/vocalist Olof “Enforcer” Wikstrand founded the one-man band with the two-song 2005 Evil Attacker demo that introduced ENFORCER to the Swedish metal scene. The band grew into a 4-piece and released their first full-length, Into The Night, in 2008. They first toured North America in 2009 with Cauldron and in 2010, delivered their sophomore effort, Diamonds.

ENFORCER have assaulted audiences at Metalcamp, Bloodstock, Hole In The Sky, Dynamo, Keep It True, Rockstad: Falun, and Hell’s Pleasure festivals. Next month, the band will open for NWOBHM greats ANGEL WITCH and Swedish metallers GRAND MAGUS on the “Hunting Across Europe” tour.

Death By Fire, the third full-length album and Nuclear Blast debut by Swedish high energy heavy/speed metal band ENFORCER, will be released in early 2013.

Guitarist/vocalist Olof “Enforcer” Wikstrand shares the following about the album artwork: “The cover is drawn by our long-time friend Jonathan Hultèn of Necromantic Art. It captures pretty much everything we wanted from a cover. Simple and direct!”

NUCLEAR BLAST remark on the passing of Mark Lucker singer for SUICIDE SILENCE

It is with great sadness and regret this morning that we have to report that Mitch Lucker, vocalist of SUICIDE SILENCE, passed away a few hours ago due to injuries sustained during a motorcycle accident.

NUCLEAR BLAST would like to offer our condolences to his family, friends, band members and fans worldwide who are affected by this loss.

He left us doing what he loved to do most. He was 28 years old and will be sorely missed.

The day we’ve all been longing for since the release of WINTERSUN’s eponymous debut album in 2004 is getting closer. On the 23rd of October 2012, Nuclear Blast will release Time I!

During the Time I listening session at the Nuclear Blast HQ in Donzdorf, Germany guitarist/vocalist Jari Mäenpää was interviewed by BLEEDING RED frontman Timo Joos. Joos asked the WINTERSUN mastermind fan questions that had been collected via the official Nuclear Blast Europe Facebook page.

A lyric video for the new CRUCIFIED BARBARA track, “Everything We Need,” is available for viewing on the Nuclear Blast YouTube channel.

“Everything We Need” is from the band’s third studio album and Nuclear Blast debut, The Midnight Chase, due out in North America on July 31st. It was recorded at the legendary Music-A-Matic Vintage Recording Studio in Gothenburg, Sweden and can be pre-ordered from the Nuclear Blast USA Webshop.

Bay Area thrash metal legends, TESTAMENT, have launched a contest around their new album Dark Roots of Earth where fans can win a chance to see the band for free in their town! How does it work? It’s simple. KREATOR unleashes Phantom Antichrist video

KREATOR, one of Germany’s longest-lived & prodigious thrash metal bands, have released the official video for the title track off their thirteenth studio album, Phantom Antichrist. For a glimpse of humanity’s doomed future courtesy of Polish production company Grupa 13 (BEHEMOTH, SONATA ARCTICA, ELUVEITIE).

Mille Petrozza, KREATOR’s singer & guitarist, states: “Grupa 13 strikes again! The most apocalyptic video in the history of KREATOR is here!”

Phantom Antichrist, the band’s debut album for Nuclear Blast, is due out in North America on June 5th and in Europe on June 1st. It was recorded in Örebro, Sweden at the famed Fascination Street Studio with renowned producer Jens Bogren (Opeth, Katatonia, Soilwork).
